Today two sections of the track remain in a total length of 1,480 meters, separated by a few meters previously paved but now damaged. The track would be paved so as to overcome the natural obstacles, in areas of steep slope accentuated with difficult and irregular ground, often aggravated by the most diverse inclemencies.
The Calçadinha is also a pleasant pedestrian route, with about 5km of extension. To access the route you can leave near the church in the historic center about 700 meters away from the foot itself and go through the paths of history.
