Oggi due tratti del tracciato rimangono in una lunghezza totale di 1.480 metri, separati da pochi metri precedentemente pavimentati ma ora danneggiati. La pista verrebbe pavimentata in modo da superare gli ostacoli naturali, in zone di forte pendenza accentuate da terreni difficili e irregolari, spesso aggravate dalle più diverse inclemenze.
Il Calçadinha è anche un piacevole percorso pedonale, con circa 5 km di estensione. Per accedere al percorso è possibile lasciare vicino alla chiesa nel centro storico a circa 700 metri dal piede stesso e percorrere i sentieri della storia.
