Its extensive beach makes it one of the best beaches in the Eastern Algarve.
The access to the beach of Terra Estreita, is made by boat from the fishing village of Santa Luzia. It is a journey of just over 10 minutes along the channel that separates the mainland.
To cross the island from the anchorage to the beach, there is a wooden walkway with approximately 250 meters.
On the beach it has a support with restaurant and bar where they serve light meals. For those who like to walk along the beach, walking to the left side comes to the Island of Tavira and to the right side to the beach of Barril.
From the beach of Terra Estreita to the Island of Tavira are 2450 meters walking along the sand and up to Barril Beach are 2300 meters.
