On the facade is the figure of San Francisco de Paula carved in stone. It has two towers of two bodies and a high base, whose outer part is decorated with flower petals in high relief. It is of a single ship. The convent has become the Pre-seminary of the Diocese and headquarters of the Apostolic Administration.
It is located on the corner, between the Jrs. Callao and Garcilaso De la Vega. City of Ayacucho.
Anticipating the Bolivarian provisions, it was closed in 1804 by order of Mayor Demetrio O. Higgins, lacking religious.
The convent has become a Pre-Seminary of the Diocese and seat of the Apostolic Administration.
