The image of its entrance to the East was popularized, from the decade of 1990, by the labels of the port Porta da Ravessa, produced by the Adega Cooperativa de Redondo. It was in front of this door that, in the Middle Ages, was the fair of the settlement.
Redondo Castle, also known as Redondo Castle, in the Alentejo, is located in the village and parish of the same name, Évora District, in Portugal.
The remains of its walls and its keep are classified as National Monument by Decree published on January 2, 1946.
