This bridge was built to make the rail and pedestrian connection of the two banks of the river. Another concrete bridge for the movement of the trains was deactivated and built. In just a few years the D. Amélia bridge was recovered and today makes the road and pedestrian connection between Porto de Muge and Muge on the opposite bank.
Located in Valada, Cartaxo.
A remarkable work of engineering, inaugurated on January 14, 1904 by His Majesty King Carlos.
