It is the most popular beach in Valparaiso. It is named after the torpedo boats that remained there in 1887, two of which were moored in Valparaiso Bay in active service until 1895.
Bordemar Poniente. Altamirano Avenue, next to Punta Angeles Lighthouse.
It has always been a favorite recreation spot for Playa Ancha residents, who come down to the coast to enjoy the sun and the sea. It is common to see whole families gathered around a makeshift table, enjoying real home cooking parties.
